Hepatox®, a bibliographical database which reviews drug-induced liver injury, was created in 1980 by Michel BIOUR (MD, PhD), and has been monthly updated in accordance with other usual bibliographical databases such as Embase® (Elsevier), Medline® or X-Reactions® (Adis Press) and to the analysis of the references cited in the articles

All the published cases for selection and classification were re-evaluated in accordance with criterions usually validated in hepatology.

More than a thousand drugs are registered with more than 15,000 corresponding references.

We provide the number of references for each type of liver disorder and one selected reference for each drug.
